Job summary

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital in Washington, NC, part of ECU Health Medical Center, is seeking an Assistant Manager, Nursing (ANM) to support the Nurse Manager in supervising and coordinating nursing services in a designated patient care area.

The ANM will plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care in accordance with provider orders and policies, promote quality outcomes, staff development and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current, unrestricted RN license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP etc. may be required by unit.

Minimum Requirements

Education

Graduated from an accredited Nursing Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, or higher.

BSN preferred.

Licensure

Current unrestricted RN license required.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, CPI) may be required based on unit specialty.

Experience

Two to three years of clinical nursing experience. Specialty experience may be required based on unit/department (e.g., OR, ICU, ED).

Previous Leadership Or Charge Nurse Experience Preferred

Pay Range

• Assistant Nurse Manager hourly range > $43.40 - $59.68
• Final compensation is determined at the offer stage

• This position is full-time (40hrs/week) - Monday to Friday, 6:45am - 2:45pm
