Job summary

Ashtabula Regional Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead nursing units under the Director of Nursing. You will supervise clinical staff, manage attendance and evaluations, and drive quality improvements while coordinating with other departments to ensure patient-centered care.

The role requires a BSN or active pursuit of one, strong communication and organizational skills, and prior nursing management experience. This is an on-site management position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (RN) is required or actively pursuing a BSN.
• Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills along with analytical and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight across all shifts for assigned nursing units.
• Clinical supervision of staff including time/attendance, evaluations, corrective actions, and quality initiatives.
• Coordinate unit operations with other departments to ensure effective patient care across all ages.
• Participate on hospital committees as assigned; may assume Director of Nursing duties in their absence.
