Job summary

Ashtabula Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect patient care. Candidates should be licensed to practice in Ohio and have a recognized nursing degree, preferably a BSN. The RN will demonstrate competency in patient care, ensuring that patients receive appropriate attention and treatment.

This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work under stressful conditions. Certification like BLS, ACLS, or others is expected within the first year.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
• One year of related nursing experience, preferred.
• Must be currently licensed to practice in the state of Ohio.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certification required within the first year for appropriate unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and specialized direct and indirect patient care.
• Demonstrate competency in the behavioral, growth and development, and psychosocial needs.
• Encounter Protected Health Information (PHI) as part of regular responsibilities.
