Ashtabula Regional Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to provide leadership and oversight across all shifts for assigned nursing units. You will supervise staff, coordinate unit operations, and participate in hospital committees to improve patient care.

The role emphasizes accountability for quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory standards, with duties expanding in the director's absence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing; actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree is acceptable.
• Strong clinical knowledge and skills; good oral, written, and interpersonal communication; strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision of assigned staff, including time and attendance management, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate unit operations with other departments to ensure effective and efficient patient care across all age groups.
• Actively participate on hospital committees as assigned.
• May assume the duties of the Director of Nursing as directed or in their absence.
