Job summary

The MetroHealth System is hiring a registered nurse to coordinate and evaluate patient care activities within a correctional setting. You will collaborate with the nurse manager and behavioral health leaders to support addiction medicine and unit operations.

Required BSN, Ohio RN license, BLS, and 3+ years of RN experience. Epic and MS Office proficiency are preferred. The hospital system values patient-centered care and diversity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BLS for healthcare provider certification (or within 90 days of hire).
• At least 3 years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication and delegation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and evaluates unit activities impacting patient care delivery.
• Works with the nurse manager and manager of behavioral health to support addiction medicine and behavioral health unit operations.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
