Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for a correctional unit. The RN will plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care delivery in cooperation with the nurse manager and behavioral health teams.

Required BSN, Ohio RN license, and BLS certification (or within 90 days). At least 3 years of RN experience and strong communication/delegation skills are expected to support diverse patient populations and uphold MetroHealth standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (or within 90 days of hire).
• At least 3 years of RN experience.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication and delegation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse backgrounds.

• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate unit activities affecting patient care delivery.
