MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the correctional health team. You will provide direct patient care, coordinate with nursing leadership, and support addiction medicine and behavioral health unit operations with emphasis on safe, cost-conscious care.

The role requires BSN, Ohio RN license, BLS, and at least 3 years of RN experience; strong communication and teamwork are essential in a diverse patient population.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
• At least 3 years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication and delegation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• In cooperation and conjunction with the nurse manager, plans, coordinates, and evaluates all unit activities impacting patient care delivery; holds self and staff accountable for identification, evaluation, documentation, and appropriate intervention of patients' needs to ensure quality and cost-effective patient care.
• Works with the nurse manager and manager of behavioral health to support addiction medicine and behavioral health unit operations, including practice and financial management.
