Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily center operations in the GM's absence and lead a dedicated team to deliver excellent customer service. The role offers hands-on training, advancement opportunities, and a supportive work environment.

Candidate will manage shifts, allocate resources, and participate in U-Haul University programs while upholding safety and quality standards. Strong leadership and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Drivers license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager's absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and high quality of care.
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
