Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily center operations in the absence of the General Manager. You will lead a team to ensure top-quality customer service and efficient processes.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and leadership experience. The position offers an opportunity for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and high-quality care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
