Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Moving Center Manager to oversee daily center operations in the General Manager’s absence.

You will guide a team to ensure excellent customer service, manage diverse duties such as hitch installations, and participate in continuous training through U-Haul University. The role requires leadership and strong customer service experience, with shifts available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
• Driver’s license and clean driving record stated as preferred
• Leadership experience in any form
• Customer service experience
• Ability to work a variety of shifts

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and high-quality care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
