Cecil College seeks a dedicated athletics professional to lead a collegiate program under NJCAA and regional guidelines. You will recruit student athletes, coordinate daily practices with the Head Coach, attend all home and away meets, monitor academic progress with the Athletic Department, and drive fundraising activities.
The role requires an Associate’s Degree with coaching experience and a strong commitment to academic and athletic excellence, diversity, and equity in sports.
Responsible for conducting a comprehensive, high quality collegiate athletic program within the guidelines of all rules and policies established by Cecil College, its athletic department, the Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference, Region XX of the National Junior College Athletic Association, and the National Junior College Athletic Association itself. In accordance with the academic standards, stated mission and goals of Cecil College and the Department of Athletics.

Must be able to lift and move up to a maximum of 50 lbs. The physical activity of this position includes, but is not limited to: climbing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pulling, lifting, grasping, twisting and sitting.
The worker will be exposed to inside and outside environmental conditions. Safety equipment will be provided where needed and required to be worn or used.
