Overview

Position Goals

• Report directly to the Athletic Director and provide leadership for a quality intercollegiate team.
• Create and maintain a learning environment that affirms diversity and promotes academic and athletic success.

Job Description

• Perform on‑court coaching, teaching, and instruction.
• Recruit student‑athletes.
• Maintain team and individual statistics and report scores.
• Adhere to the sport budget, including travel, supplies, and equipment.
• Travel with the team to and from all contests.
• Monitor academic progress of student‑athletes.
• Fundraise as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Director of Athletics.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, planning, leadership, attention to detail, flexibility, initiative, and sound judgment.
• Ability and commitment to recruit, instruct, and motivate college student athletes.
• Ability to work with a diverse student population in a multicultural environment.
