Frederick Community College is seeking an Assistant Coach for softball to support the Head Coach with day-to-day NJCAA team operations. The role requires collaboration with the Director of Athletics and travel with the team.
Evening and weekend work is required to meet practice and competition schedules. The ideal candidate will have coaching or playing experience at high school or college level, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and CPR/First Aid certification.

This position supports the Head Coach with the day-to-day operations of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) team at Frederick Community College. The Assistant Coach works under the guidance and direction of the Head Coach and is supervised by the Director of Athletics. The Assistant Coach meets the travel demands of the athletic competition schedule. This position must have the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
