Collin College is seeking an assistant golf coach to support operations, practices, and on-course coaching during tournaments. You will coordinate transportation and help develop game strategies and line-ups for student athletes across the season.
The role requires a physical education background, relevant coaching experience, and the ability to work with admissions and housing, while upholding NJCAA rules and college policies. This is a part-time, hourly position based in Plano, TX.
Primary Location: 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas, 75074
Assist the Head Golf Coach with all program operations including planning and managing daily practices, on-the-course coaching during tournaments, and transporting players to all tournaments throughout the season.
Heavy Work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects. Positions in this class typically include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, climbing and balancing, plus pushing, pulling and lifting. Occasional exposure to unpleasant environmental conditions and/or hazards. Occasional outside work. Frequent physical effort required.
