Qualifications

• Must have an allopathic or osteopathic medical degree (M.D., D.O.).
• Must have a valid Medical License and be eligible to be licensed in DC without restriction.
• Must be ABMS board-certified in a medical specialty related to emergency medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine.

Responsibilities

• Develop guidelines, policies, and procedures to monitor and optimize EMS quality of care.
• Provide EMS training and education programs at the Department's Training Academy and other sites.
• Supervise subordinate managers, supervisors and staff.
