Job summary

The Reston Association seeks an Assistant Medical Director to provide executive medical direction for pre-hospital emergency services.

You will lead the EMS Quality Improvement program and design training initiatives at the FEMS Training Academy. Ideal candidates must hold an MD or DO, possess a current medical license, and have a strong interest in EMS systems leadership. All applicants must become District residents within 180 days of appointment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Current, unrestricted medical license and eligibility for licensure in DC.
• ABMS board certification in a specialty serving a broad patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level medical direction for pre-hospital emergency medical services.
• Lead and advance a comprehensive EMS Quality Improvement (QI) program.
• Design and deliver EMS training and education programs.
