Job summary

Ambrosia QSR in Sandy, OR is seeking an Assistant Manager to support a single restaurant's daily operations. You will work full-time with open availability, supervise shifts, and act as the right hand to the General Manager, participating in development training to foster growth.

The role emphasizes coaching, station proficiency, compliance, guest service, and profitability through cost control, scheduling, and inventory management. Prior POS experience and Serv Safe certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Serv Safe training & certificate preferred.
• Prior experience with a POS system.
• 1-2 years of hands-on food or retail management experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and develop team members and adhere to training plans.
• Coordinate pre-shift and safety meetings.
• Lead with a guest-first mindset and exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including break laws and scheduling.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards and proper cash handling.
