Job summary

Lush North America, in Novi, MI, seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Shop Manager and help drive a vibrant, customer-focused retail experience. You’ll lead a team on the shop floor, coach staff, and ensure smooth daily operations to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, scheduling, training, inventory control, and maintaining brand standards while promoting an inclusive, ethical shopping environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years managing or supervising in a retail environment.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Strong customer service, supervisory and sales skills.
• Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty and ethical business.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the shop including holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Experience: lead plans to exceed daily sales goals and create an inclusive customer experience.
• Team Leadership: support the Shop Manager, lead by example and motivate staff to meet sales targets.
