Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC in Ladson, SC is hiring an Assistant Manager to keep the store energized across shifts. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach the team, and help hire and train a high-performing staff focused on customer service and store success.

Open availability is a must, including weekends and holidays, with potential for growth into store management. We offer weekly pay, a sign-on bonus, 401(k), paid time off, health insurance, and a clear path for career

Qualifications

Customer service focus required.
Ability to lead and train a team effectively.
Experience handling cash and transactions is valued.
Strong communication in English and basic math skills.
Food safety certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team centered on customer service and store success.
Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock levels.
Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
