Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC in Sumter, SC seeks an Assistant Manager to help run daily store operations, supervise cash register activity, and coach staff to deliver friendly service. Open availability and weekend/holiday shifts are required, with second or third shifts common.

This role offers hands-on leadership in a fast-paced convenience store environment. You will assist the Store Manager, manage inventory, schedule staff, oversee deposits, and help drive upsells of promotions.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends, holidays and second/third shifts.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license with insurance proof for deposits.
• Physically able to perform store upkeep tasks including cleaning restrooms and outside areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Operate the register and assist customers quickly and accurately.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Participate in hiring, training and leading a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when Store Manager is off.
• Manage inventory, ordering and merchandising to keep shelves stocked.
