Job summary

Holiday Oil Company in Utah is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations, lead staff, and ensure outstanding customer service across our stores. The ideal candidate brings retail experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage cash handling, inventory, scheduling, and product knowledge while maintaining safety and store standards.

This role also requires opening/closing and flexibility across the weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Training experience preferred.
• Open/close stores on Sundays through Saturdays.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Ability to learn products and train staff.
• Maintain composure with difficult customers.
• Adjust schedules to support business needs.
• Safe driving record and Utah driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support team to ensure excellent customer service.
• Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and deposits.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering merchandise and fuel.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and security procedures.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain store cleanliness and equipment maintenance.
• Assist in scheduling shifts and manage employee performance.
