J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Assistant Manager in Vernon Hills to lead a dynamic store team. You’ll drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and strong community engagement while coaching sales associates to peak performance.

You’ll partner with the Store Director and leadership to optimize operations, recruiting, training, and events, ensuring best‑in‑class service and a collaborative, engaging work environment for all staff.

Qualifikationen

• 1-2 years of retail management experience with a similar scope.
• Must be able to bend, reach, and lift at least 40 pounds (18 kilos).

• Support Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results and profitability.
• Own your division: Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling.
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training & development efforts.

• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class service.
• Lead fit sessions to boost product knowledge for associates.
• Engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into multiple roles on the sales floor as needed.
