Job summary

Leslie’s pool supplies, the World’s Largest Retailer of Swimming Pool Supplies, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store performance and customer service excellence in our Louisville location.

You will learn best practices, train and develop the team, and lead by example to meet sales plans, profitability, and merchandising goals. This role offers growth, training, and a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, or currently attending High School.
• A valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• 1 year of customer service experience or retail experience.
• Experience managing/leading a team.
• Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to learn store operations, sales plans, payroll and expenses.
• Conduct water analysis and mechanical repairs.
• Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts.
• Ensure team safety protocols are followed.
• Identify and recruit new talent to join the team.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment and assist with merchandising and inventory control.
• Open/close store and manage daily bank deposit responsibilities.
