Huck's Market in McLeansboro, IL seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee shift operations and support the Store Manager in driving profitability. You will ensure prompt customer service, proper scheduling, and adherence to policy.

Responsibilities

• Gives all customers prompt and courteous service, including greeting customers using the gasoline intercom and adhering to Best In Class standards
• Observes shift operating hours and helps fill shifts as assigned by the Store Manager
• Works the Store Manager's days off and at least two evening shifts per week to cover peak hours
• Performs tasks assigned by the Store Manager and communicates with store associates and management
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and acts as a conduct model for associates
• Monitors sales, cash, and operating discrepancies and ensures proper uniform and customer service
• Completes shift change reports and properly records hours worked; processes sales, over rings, refunds, and daily deposits
• Treats all associates with dignity and respect and reports personnel issues impacting store performance
• Ensures safe store operations, proper lifting, ladder safety, and accident reporting
• Actively promote Huck’s Bucks Loyalty App and assist customers with sign-up and usage for discounts
