Bergdorf Goodman, a New York luxury retailer, seeks an Assistant Manager, Operations to lead store operations with a focus on team development and service values of Excellence, Imagination & Graciousness.

You will optimize workflows, drive accountability, and support a service-driven culture while collaborating with management to uphold the highest standards of luxury retail and client experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with retail operations, inventory management, or store leadership.
• Leadership experience - coaching and inspiring a team.
• Associates must be willing to work based on business need, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily operational goals with the team to ensure agreement and execution of priorities.
• Manage workflows to support daily store operations and special projects.
• Lead the financial inventory process within assigned areas, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Develop support associates to enhance skills, performance, and career progression.
• Foster a collaborative, customer-centric culture that prioritizes service excellence across the team.
• Partner with Support and Selling Managers through regular meetings to strengthen collaboration and implement operational strategies.
• Ensure staffing and daily coverage across all areas to maintain high operational standards.
• Oversee either a high-volume brand or a mid-level sales volume floor, managing all related operational and team performance metrics.

You Will Be

You ensure the seamless execution of store operations by optimizing workflows, driving accountability, and encouraging a service-driven culture. With commitment to collaboration, the Assistant Manager, Operations partners to uphold the highest standards of luxury retail while supporting our goals and enhancing the client experience.

What You Will Do

• Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds
• Associates must be willing to work based on business need, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
