Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, mentor staff, and ensure outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with the General Manager to drive performance, develop future leaders, and uphold our service standards.

You’ll coach Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members, manage inventory and cash controls, and help build a purpose-driven team focused on service and trust.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience in restaurants, retail, or other fast-paced environments.
• People-first leadership mindset with strong communication and team development skills.
• Ability to solve problems and make timely decisions in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation by supporting daily restaurant performance and ensuring standards are met.
• Deliver great guest experiences by guiding teams to provide fast, friendly service in a clean, welcoming environment.
• Develop team members by coaching and building skills to strengthen performance.
• Support profitability by managing inventory, placing and receiving orders, and following cash control procedures.
