Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Virginia is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily drive-in operations and staff training. You will help maintain quality food, a clean and safe environment, and ensure guests have an enjoyable experience.

Applicants should have restaurant supervisory experience or equivalent, be able to work irregular hours including weekends, and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills to motivate a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or equivalent.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication, basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Willingness to follow directions and lead teams with autonomy.
• Professional, friendly, with strong leadership and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Directs and trains Team Members, Carhops and staff to meet service standards.
• Oversees drive-in restaurant operations under the General Manager.
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory and food cost control.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties and administrative tasks.
• Respects policies; reinforces customer service mentality.
• Responds to guest requests and helps resolve complaints.
