Job summary

KFC is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager in Maryland to support the Restaurant General Manager, uphold brand standards, and inspire a high-performing team. You’ll lead daily operations, train staff, recognize achievement, and ensure unforgettable customer experiences.

In this role you’ll cover the RGM’s absence, drive profitability, safety and quality, and participate in hiring, training and performance feedback while promoting KFC’s culture of belonging.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant/retail management experience.
• Assist with P&L management by following cash control procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor and reviewing financial reports.
• Ensure all employees receive proper training and resources.
• Champion KFC’s culture and values, promoting equity, inclusion and belonging in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by modeling the KFC Connect Success Routine.
• Oversee Team Members' adherence to shift responsibilities and maintain high food safety standards.
• Collaborate with the RGM in assessing team performance and providing feedback.
• Assist in sourcing, recruiting and hiring Team Members, promoting inclusion and belonging.
