Job summary

Sizzling Platter LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations in Riverton, UT. This hands-on, hourly role spans front- and back-of-house responsibilities and requires leadership to guide the team.

You will coach crew, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold food safety and quality standards while helping with hiring and training activities. Overtime is possible under state and federal rules.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are expected.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential.
• Dependable, accountable, and team-oriented approach is needed.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Lead shifts by directing team members and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support to Crew Members and Shift Leads.
• Deliver and model excellent guest service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding of team members.
• Ensure product quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards are met.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and deposits.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and stock management.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and all applicable laws.
• Step into operational roles as needed to support business demands.
• Drive team performance, accountability, and operational consistency.
