Job summary

Dollar Tree in Easley, SC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily tasks, lead associates, handle inventory, merchandising, and ensure a safe, clean, and friendly shopping environment.

This role requires strong communication, physical stamina, and a willingness to train others in loss prevention and procedures. The job is part-time and based at a Dollar Tree location in Easley.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and meet demands of physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications related to activities.
• Maintain front displays and fixtures to promotional standards; support loss prevention.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Maintain store areas, including a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment with professional and friendly interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
