Dollar Tree Stores in Chesterfield, South Carolina, seeks an Assistant Store Manager (part time) to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, merchandise flow, opening/closing, safety, and loss prevention while training and guiding Store Associates to deliver friendly, efficient service.

The role emphasizes maintaining clean, well-stocked floors, strong communication, and adherence to company policies in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and interpret operational directives.
Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
Maintain a well-stocked and clean store environment according to company standards.
Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
