Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Greer, SC to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, and support opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform standing, walking, bending tasks
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner
• Organize and transfer merchandise between stockroom and sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Adhere to directives and corporate communications
• Maintain promotional front-end fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, and payroll/scheduling records
• Maintain organized store areas to company standards
• Protect and secure store assets including cash
• Ensure safety policies are followed by associates
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment
• Other duties as assigned
