Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to oversee store operations and support the General Manager in executing daily restaurant activities. You will drive quality, service, and atmosphere while maintaining effective controls over inventory, costs, and staff performance.

The role requires 1–3 years in high-volume leadership, a High School diploma, strong customer focus, and a commitment to safety and training.

Qualifications

• High-volume restaurant leadership experience (1–3 years) required.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record of managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge of safe food handling practices (ServSafe certifiable).
• Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, ensuring quality, service, and atmosphere.
• Oversee inventory, product ordering, and cash controls.
• Train and coach shift leads and crew on procedures and recipes.
• Assist GM with business planning and strategy to optimize profits and sales.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and health standards are upheld.
• Lead team development, performance feedback, and scheduling.
