Job summary

The Assistant Manager at Slick City Action Park supports the General Manager in daily park operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and fun environment for guests. This hands-on leadership role oversees staff, enforces safety and service standards, and assists with scheduling, training, and guest experience initiatives.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 2 years supervisory or team lead experience in entertainment, hospitality, retail, food service, or recreation
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
• Passion for delivering outstanding guest service and creating memorable experiences
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification required)
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily park operations and shift execution to ensure smooth guest experiences.
• Lead and train staff, provide on-shift guidance and feedback.
• Ensure safe, clean, and memorable guest experiences; resolve issues promptly.
• Assist GM with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and timekeeping.
• Monitor inventory and cash handling; maintain compliance with standards.
• Coordinate safety protocols and plan events/birthdays and parties.
