Charter Foods is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations and shift leadership. You will guide Team Members and Shift Managers, manage inventory, and uphold Charter Foods standards while delivering safe, quality food to customers with a friendly demeanor.

The role emphasizes ownership, problem solving, and helping others, with a focus on maintaining a safe and efficient restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail, with P&L responsibility.
• 50-hour work week.
• HS diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and analytical/decision-making skills.
• Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry trash containers, and place them in an outside bin.
• Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant.
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 80% of shift time.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts and ensuring Charter Foods standards.
• Ensure Team Members and Shift Managers complete all duties and manage inventory.
• Maintain financial accountability and deliver safe, quality food to customers.
• Contribute to a safe environment for employees and customers.
