Charter Foods is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations and shift execution. You will help manage teams, control inventory, and uphold Charter Foods and brand standards to deliver safe, quality food on time.

The role emphasizes leading by example, solving problems, and guiding staff to meet performance goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail with Profit & Loss responsibility.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills.
• Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry trash containers, and place them in an outside bin.
• Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant.
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 80% of shift time.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards.
• Take ownership and guide others; solve problems with a smile and seek help when needed.
• Ensure Team Members and Shift Managers complete all duties, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability.
• Deliver safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.
