Job summary

City Brew Coffee in Butte, MT is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and to energize both your team and our guests. You’ll develop the Brew Crew, drive excellent service, and ensure smooth runs during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in coffee or food service preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and people skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
• Positive attitude and willingness to lead by example.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for coffee, teamwork, and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Shift Leaders and Baristas.
• Deliver and model outstanding guest service.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling.
• Help manage labor, inventory, and daily operations.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and standards.
• Review reports and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Support marketing initiatives and in-store promotions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Step in during high-volume shifts and lead by example.
• Contribute ideas to improve team performance and store operations.
