Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. seeks an Assistant in Training (AIT) / Assistant Manager to help fulfill our mission of delivering the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests.

You will work closely with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to develop sales, recruit Teammates and provide leadership. You will share responsibility for training Teammates, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring exceptional guest service while stepping in for the Store Manager when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding store and merchandise.
• Recommend, select, and help locate merchandise based on Guest needs.
• Anticipate Guest needs and create a wardrobe experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and share sales education with the team.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, policies, and security practices.
• Meet personal sales and store performance goals.
• Lead by example with showmanship and customer service.
• Assist in recruiting and training Teammates and lead in Store Manager's absence.
• Oversee operations like merchandising, pulls, and store cleanliness.
• Support Leadership through coaching, feedback, and scheduling.
