Job summary

The Escape Game in Miami, located in Brickell City Centre, seeks an Assistant Manager in Training to support the GM and lead by example in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a proactive, teachable mindset and willingness to learn from regional leaders.

You will champion TEG values, coach the team, and manage responsibilities across service, operations, and cash handling while adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must provide excellent guest service and maintain hospitality standards.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coach and collaborate with the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GM with daily operations and guest experience initiatives.
• Coach and mentor team members to uphold The Escape Game standards.
• Support scheduling, cash handling, and event-day execution to ensure smooth operations.

THE ROLE:

Assistant Managers in training serve and support their GM by executing their initiatives, championing TEG’s values, and coaching my team to uphold TEG standards through continuous, gracious pressure. They are a humble, teachable trainee who is eager to learn from and apply feedback from their GM and Region Leader.

REQUIREMENTS

• Required to work at least 2 weekend shifts and 2 night shifts per week unless requested off in writing through email and TEG’s timekeeping software at least two weeks in advance.
• Flexible availability. This role often works nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to handle physical activity as it relates to the job, such as deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30-40 lbs, and minor game repairs.
• Align with TEG’s Uniform Standards.
