Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role involves assisting with day-to-day activities, organizing merchandise, and maintaining store standards.

Candidates should be prepared to assist in payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention while supervising and developing Store Associates in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drugstore environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain store compliance and records.
• Maintain store and stockroom cleanliness and organization.
