Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will help with opening and closing procedures, merchandising, payroll and scheduling, and oversee Store Associates to ensure a safe, friendly shopping environment.

The role emphasizes maintaining organized stockrooms and sales floors, following corporate directives, and delivering excellent customer service and loss prevention practices within a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and required for understanding operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail or equivalent environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and comply with directives.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays and assist in merchandising.
