Family Dollar in Springfield, MA is seeking a dedicated full-time employee to help with store operations, greet customers, organize merchandise, and support the Store Manager. The role involves opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and adherence to policies in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will be part of a team focused on safe, clean store conditions, accurate record keeping, and maintaining promotional displays.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking, standing, and lifting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect store assets including cash and adhere to safety policies.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
