Family Dollar in Springfield, MA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to assist customers, handle transactions, stock and unload merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. You will interact with customers and colleagues to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include cash handling, merchandising, and restroom and floor maintenance, with additional duties as assigned. Part-time position with growth opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Aufgaben

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presenting areas.
