Playa Bowls is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the GM in daily operations and to foster a welcoming, energetic store environment. You will oversee training, scheduling, and quality control while ensuring a consistently high guest experience.

The role emphasizes team leadership, operations optimization, and hands-on involvement in service, inventory, and compliance to support rapid growth and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must pass ServSafe certification within 3 months.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Check products to ensure consistency, palatability, and quality.
• Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, verifying contents.
• Monitor food preparation methods, portions, garnishing, and presentation.
• Schedule staff hours and assign duties to optimize resources.
• Train and mentor staff; resolve operational issues with a solutions mindset.
• Fill in for Principal Manager during extended absence.
• Maintain records and ensure health, safety, and compliance.
