Job summary

Playa Bowls is seeking a General Manager for the Central Jersey Shore, NJ area. This on-site role leads day-to-day shop operations, drives guest experiences, and manages staffing, scheduling, and financial performance to uphold the Playa Bowls brand and standards.

The position requires 40–45 hours per week, including some weekends and holidays, with an exempt status and a competitive benefits package. The role reports to the Area Manager and operates within a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality management.
• Strong customer service principles and leadership skills.
• Experience recruiting, training, and evaluating staff; budgeting and scheduling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest experience and shop operations meet company standards.
• Manage payroll, budgets, and expenditures to achieve financial goals.
• Lead and develop Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members; supervise scheduling and staffing.
