Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking an Assistant General Manager to develop future leaders and think strategically about store growth and district-wide impact. This growth role partners with the General Manager to run the store and drive performance, customer experience, and team development.

The AGM will lead with the Caribou brand values, foster a supportive team environment, and work toward long-term store success while delivering day-making experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of restaurant/retail experience with strong customer service
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the doing of Team Member and Shift Leader with enthusiasm and excellence
• Develops understanding of the business toward General Manager level
• Creates joyful experiences and teaches the team to do the same
• Hits sales goals through speed and service and resolves issues calmly
• Manages daily admin tasks and cash-handling policies on shift
• Maintains inventory, waste control, and rotates stock as needed
• Leads with a global view of the Caribou brand and company growth
