Job summary

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, part of MGM Resorts, seeks an Assistant Manager of Front Services & Valet to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will support teams, uphold service standards, manage personnel needs, and drive a WOW guest experience that aligns with MGM Resorts’ renowned hospitality.

Ideal candidates will bring 2+ years in front services, leadership experience, and the ability to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior relevant experience, preferably in Front Services in a major hotel.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Bell, Door, and Valet Parking operations and ensure service levels.
• Establish and maintain departmental rules, procedures, inventory levels and standards.
• Manage personnel functions: interviewing, hiring, termination, payroll, recruitment.
• Direct and motivate staff with effective scheduling and productivity.
• Implement and maintain training for new personnel and ongoing development.
• Assist Risk Management with incident investigations when needed.

THE JOB :

Join The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas as an Assistant Manager of Front Services & Valet, where you'll play an important role in leading daily operations and delivering exceptional guest service. You'll support the team, oversee department operations, and help ensure every guest receives the elevated experience The Cosmopolitan is known for. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us!

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Oversee Bell, Door, and Valet Parking operations and ensure the high level of service expected by Hotel Management is maintained
• Establish and maintain departmental rules, procedures, inventory levels and positive service standards for all Bell, Door, and Valet Parking staff
• Manage personnel functions, including interviewing, hiring, termination, payroll, and recruitment
• Direct and motivate staff while maintaining effective staffing levels, scheduling, and employee productivity
• Implement and maintain training for new personnel and developmental training for all staff
• Assist Risk Management with investigating accidents and handling guest problems that do not require Risk Management or senior management involvement

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of prior relevant experience, preferably in Front Services in a major hotel
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a luxury resort environment preferred
• Experience leading union team members and working within a collective bargaining environment preferred
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
