Role Overview

Manage the food and beverage departments of the hotel, including food preparation, service, and lounge operations, ensuring standards and quality are maintained, and maximizing profits.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain standards of food, beverage, and guest service quality as per system operations and brand standards.
  2. Achieve budgeted revenues, control expenses, and maximize profitability.
  3. Develop and implement marketing programs for local and system-wide promotions.
  4. Assist with menu design and concepts in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
  5. Develop and manage the departmental budget and monitor variances.
  6. Maintain inventory control and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  7. Schedule staff, provide support, and develop team members.
  8. Participate in hotel management as a member of the Executive Committee and work as Manager on Duty when required.
  9. Oversee hiring and firing decisions within the department.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Serve Safe Certification required.
  • Minimum of five years food and beverage experience, including two years in a management role.
  • Culinary experience is a plus.
Additional Details
  • Supervisory responsibilities over all Food & Beverage staff.
  • Physical demands include frequent carrying, lifting, and interpersonal communication.
  • Must complete all required training on time.
  • Adherence to laws and company policies in service of food and alcohol.
  • Work environment is professional, clean, and respectful.
