Job summary

Jersey Mike's in North Bend, WA seeks an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in running daily operations, building a positive, high-performing team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You'll coach and develop teammates, assist with hiring and training, and ensure standards for food quality, safety, and customer service are met across shifts. This role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or customer service environment.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food safety certification may be required and will be provided through training if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members through positive leadership.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees.
• Lead shifts while upholding Jersey Mike's standards for quality, cleanliness, and service.
• Monitor labor, productivity, and food quality across shifts.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving deliveries, and controlling costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and operating standards.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and provide positive resolutions.
• Support scheduling, daily operations, and performance goals.
• Open and close the restaurant as needed.
• Lead by example and foster a positive, accountable, team-first culture.
