Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC operates Village Pantry locations and is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager for Store 5401 in Fishers, IN. The role requires flexible, open availability including weekends and holidays, with second or third shift expectations.

You will support store operations, customer service, and team leadership while ensuring accurate cash handling and a welcoming environment. You will drive results by coaching staff, managing inventory, and contributing to store success.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends, holidays and second/third shifts.
• Reliable transportation with a valid license and insurance for deposits.
• Physical readiness for cleaning, stocking and outdoor pump areas.
• Minimum age 21 years old.
• Proficient English communication and basic math.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Must have or obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register with speed and accuracy while providing great customer service.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Assist in hiring, training and leading a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off shift.
• Manage inventory, ordering and merchandising to keep stock full.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits and oversee store finances.
• Provide leadership that motivates the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned.
